Forget.

Dare to forget that we live in a world of high gas prices and credit card debt. Forget that computer generated dinosaurs are as commonplace as talking animals on television sets. Forget the percentages of divorces or risks of lung cancer. Forget that swearing, sex and immoral acts are a staple to modern entertainment as all these things are chemicals that pollute the soul.

Remember.

Remember when you were a child and finding a penny was like finding gold. Remember when you wondered why the sky was blue and were in awe that people didn't live in black and white before the invention of color photos. Remember when the worst part of your day was when you couldn't play in the rain. Remember when you didn't care what clothes you wore or who was impressed with your hair. Remember when life was simpler, when there was room in your daily schedule and list of responsibilities to believe in ghosts and Santa Claus and superheroes.

Why does the world need Heroes? Because sometimes heroes save more than our lives, sometimes they preserve our delicate and fleeting innocence.
